Qualified to Receive

Many Christians fail to enjoy the blessings of the Covenant because they can’t see themselves qualified to receive.  They condemn themselves and therefore hinder their own prayers and weaken their faith.  They can’t see themselves worthy or good enough to qualify. We must see ourselves in the light of the redemptive work of Jesus.  He qualified us to be partakers of the divine nature.  He provided a complete salvation that gives us a way to become sons and daughters of the Most High.

1 John 3:18-22  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.  19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.  20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.  21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Heart in these scriptures means the soul, not the spirit man.  Condemnation comes in the soul or mind.  You, the spirit man, can remove condemnation in the soul or mind.  We do it by believing what the Word says about us.

Colossians 1:12-14 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet (able) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

God the Father has made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light and He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Can we understand the fact that sin has no place in us and if we remove the sin consciousness we will remove condemnation?  We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Ephesians 1:1-7 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

We are accepted in Jesus!  When we accept Jesus as Lord, God then accepts us the same as He does Jesus.

Hebrews 10:12-17  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

God will not remember our sins, so why should we let the past hinder us?  If we sin we need to run to God and confess our sin and they are remembered no more!

We as believers are in God’s family now and we have family privileges, one of which is that we have access to the throne of God.  Paul said, “let us come boldly”.  That tells me God has qualified us!

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Jesus was the first to be born again, but your number is down the line somewhere.  You are a son or daughter of God.  You have rightstanding the Almighty, the Creator of everything.  You are somebody in the body of Christ.

Enjoy the blessings!!!!!!!!!!!
