We Can Prosper Regardless
When we look into the Scriptures we find that God’s people always prospered when they did what God instructed. It’s not that God wants to control your life just to be controlling it; but He knows what works and what doesn’t. If we do it God’s way, things always turn out for the best.
Matthew 6:33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things (taken together) will be given you besides. AMP
Jesus is telling us to find out how the Kingdom works, and do it that way so we won't have to be worried about clothing and food.
Deuteronomy 28:1-14 Gives us the conditions and the results of obedience.
Notice verse 2 “all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”
Blessed in the city (business)
Blessed in the field (your work or your crops)
Blessed shall be the fruit of your body (your offspring)
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy cattle (livestock)
Blessed shall be the increase of thy Kine (oxen or working animals)
Blessed shall be your basket (what you are living out of now, your daily supply)
Blessed shall be your store (your savings, investments)
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in and when thou goest out ([When thou comest in] From thy employment, thou shalt find that no evil has happened to the family or dwelling in thy absence. [When thou goest out] Thy way shall be made prosperous before thee, and thou shalt have the divine blessing in all thy labours. )
Verse 8 The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and He shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
I encourage you to read this chapter often it as will cause your faith to be strong where prosperity is concerned. Below is a list of other passages that will build your faith for prosperity.
Joshua 1:7-8 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Psalms 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Malachi 3:10-11 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
