Signs of the Times
Many Christians have questions about their future, and God’s Word gives the answers.
Will the Church be raptured (caught up)?
When will the Church be caught up?
Will the Church go through the tribulation?
When will Jesus return to the earth to rule and reign?
When will the end of the age be (the earth as we know it)?
Matthew 24 gives us signs that indicate where we are in God’s order of events.
- Many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ (anointed) and deceive many.
- You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.
- Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
- There shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.
Jesus said, these are the beginning of sorrows or the beginning of what is coming (tribulation).
Are we not already seeing these things? The catching up of the Church must be at hand. 1Thessalonians 5:9 tells us that the believer is not appointed to wrath. In other words, the believer is not going through the seven year tribulation period.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 tells us that we are not appointed to wrath.
The Church, those that have accepted Jesus as their Lord, will be caught up before the tribulation period begins.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
1 Corinthians 15:51-54
During the tribulation on the earth the Church will be enjoying the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven. When the seven years are finished, we are coming back to earth to rule and reign with Jesus for a thousand years. After the thousand years are passed, God creates a new earth and new heaven and we live with God, Jesus, and the believers from all ages forever.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
God has a great future prepared for you!
